A simple idea, a brilliant initiative – and concept guaranteed to put a smile on the face of every die-hard romantic out there.
The U.K.-based not-for-profit Green Thing has come up with this match-making service for lonesome gloves. We have probably all tried losing just the one glove. And we’ve all seen the poor single gloves left behind, lying soaked and trampled in the street, or hanging desolately skewered on a fence where a passer-by has put it on display.
Now there’s a solution. Something can be done. This new initiative is called “Glove Love” and functions as a rescue service for singleton mittens. Send them in, and they’ll be gently cleaned and paired with another widowed arm-warmer that’s looking for a forever partner.
